“Gifted and charismatic songwriter” - Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6
Rosie Miles is an alt-folk storyteller whose soaring melodies and poetic lyrics serve as her ink and pen. Inspired by Joni Mitchell, Madison Cunningham, and Laura Marling, her music dances effortlessly between the worlds of Indie, Folk & Jazz, evoking a welcome nostalgia of the 70s songwriter movement.
“Rosie Miles captivates…She lets us inside her head”
- Folk Radio UK
“Exquisite”
- Emily Pilbeam, BBC Introducing
“A voice that is hard not to fall in love with”
- Triste Magazine

Endlessly inspired by the songwriters, journalists, and poets of the late 60s/70s, her confessional lyricism exposes and explores familiar narratives with a shrewd vulnerability that is both comforting and deeply moving. Rosie’s band adds warmth and depth to her tunes, weaving lush guitars and jazz-inspired rhythms beneath her powerful voice and lilting refrains.
Praised for her captivating performances and light-hearted stage presence, Rosie has performed across the country including support slots for Tom Robinson, Rosie Frater-Taylor and O’Hooley and Tidow. She has gained support from Music:Leeds Launchpad+ Programme, BBC Radio 6 and BBC Introducing as well as press coverage in Folk Radio UK, For The Rabbits and Triste Magazine.
